Latest Report on Progression of Muslims in UK Higher Education

We are pleased to announce the publication of our latest Report on the progression of Muslims in UK Higher Education.

The study investigates the 'Muslim Gap' in the context of postgraduate progression. We estimate the difference in the rate of progression between Muslim and Non-Muslim students at UK universities between two levels of education: (i) from an Undergraduate degree to a Masters degree, and (ii) from a Masters degree to a PhD, over the academic years 2015–2023, using data from the Office for Students (OfS).
